Our team performed a competitive analysis of vintage item business websites to pinpoint potential enhancements for Bomul. This involved evaluating diverse services and features and offering valuable insights for improvement recommendations. and

Our team interviewed experienced second-hand shoppers, revealing a demand for socially conscious shopping online and an interest in understanding the environmental impact of overconsumption. However, users frequently express feelings of overwhelm when researching this subject and uncertainty regarding the tangible impact of their actions.

During our research, our team carefully assessed multiple potential solutions aimed at mitigating the emotional burden users frequently encounter with environmental-related content. Additionally, we have examined strategies to alleviate the often overwhelming experience associated with physical vintage shopping.

Opportunity

Our goal was to showcase the environmental advantages of vintage shopping via an accessible e-commerce platform.

Our team was committed to emphasizing the positive environmental impact throughout the user journey. We aimed to enhance engagement and foster sustainable practices in line with Boul's mission to deliver an enjoyable customer experience. By thoughtfully addressing environmental concerns without inducing anxiety and streamlining the shopping process, we believe we could offer an effective alternative to the complexities of traditional thrifting, aligning with our sustainable business goals.

I've devised a storyboard illustrating Taylor's exploration of a vintage e-commerce platform, emphasizing her transition to online thrift shopping. The narrative pays particular attention to the website's catering specifically to environmentally conscious consumers like Taylor. The storyboard showcases how the website strives to enhance user engagement and promote eco-friendly shopping practices through curated product categorization and thoughtful design.

I utilized the storyboard as a blueprint to visualize Taylor's journey on the vintage e-commerce website, focusing on key interactions and user experiences. From this storyboard, I translated each frame into low-fidelity sketches, capturing the essence of the user interface, navigation flow, and key features.
